  1. Prepare 200 gm paneer
  2. Make ready 2 + 2 tb sp butter

  14. Prepare 2 tb sp chopped coriander leaves
  15. Take 1 &1/2 bowl of water
  16. Make ready 2 tb sp fresh cream
Steps to make Butter Masala Paneer:
  1. Soak cashew nuts in hot water for 20-25 minutes. Then discard water and Grind it to a smooth paste.
  2. Wash and chop tomatoes roughly and then grind it to a smooth paste/puree. Wash peel and crush ginger and garlic.
  3. Cut paneer in cubes. Chop 1 piece thin ginger julienne.
  4. Heat butter in a heavy bottomed karahi. Add 1 tb sp cooking oil. It's added to avoid butter getting brown. Add bay leave and fry it for 1 minute.
  5. Add crushed ginger garlic and saute it for 2-3 minutes. Then add tomato puree, mix it and cook on low flame.
  6. Cook tomato puree on low flame till butter start leaving sides of karahi. Now add cashew nut paste and remaining butter and mix it.
  7. Cook this mixture on low flame while stirring continuously till it turn thick. Now add salt, Kashmiri mirch, paprika, and crushed kasuri methi and mix well. Add water and let the mixture come to boil.
  8. Add paneer cubes and stir and cook for 2 minutes. Add half of cream and mix.
  9. Now add chopped coriander leaves and 1 slit green chilli.
  10. Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves, remaining cream and julienne with paratha or chapatti.
