Instructions to make Nargisi Kofte for dinner :):
- Method for kofta : Take a bowl and mix all ingredients of kofta (Paneer, all boiled mashed vegetables like potato, cauliflower, green peas, carrots, beans, white pepper powder, grated ginger, chopped green chilli, salt to taste and cornflour). Make small kofta balls from this mixture.
- Heat oil in a kadai on high flame and deep fry all koftas until they turn to golden brown. Drain all koftas on absorbent paper to absorb extra oil and keep them aside.
- Method for Gravy: Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add the whole garam masala. When the seeds crackle, add onion paste, ginger-garlic paste and saute for a while.
- Then add tomato puree, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander, cumin powder, sugar and salt to taste and fry it until the masala leaves the oil. Add some water and mix well and simmer till gravy becomes thick.
- Then add the koftas and garam masala powder, mix well and cook it for another 5-7 minutes or until koftas becomes soft. Garnish it with whipped fresh cream and serve hot with rice or phulkaas :)
