- In a heavy bottom pan add salt and let it heat for 5 minutes. Add peanuts and cook for 3 to 4 minutes and reduce the flame to low flame. Keep stirring for further 5 to 6 minutes. It will start fluttering and will change its colour. Once done use a sieve to remove the salt and let it cool completely. Keep in air tight container. Enjoy
